This product is to be used as a barrier between the scalp and the chemical being applied to the hair. Apply carefully to places on the scalp where chemicals will be applied to the hair. After the chemical process is complete, shampoo hair thoroughly with a neutralizing shampoo and follow up with a conditioner.
