We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself. Coax out the scent : Leave your candle to burn until the entire surface has turned to liquid (around 4 hours). Do not leave your candle unattended. Snuff out the flame : Using a snuffer is recommended to avoid splashing hot wax. Use a wick trimmer to recenter the wick and trim it down to 5 millimeters (about 1/5 of an inch) for the best results next time you light it. Final sparks : We recommend you stop lighting your candle once the wax is only 5 millimeters thick (about 1/5 of an inch) or the metal wick sustainer becomes visible.
